Fløbo

Swiss-born, Berlin-based Fløbo is an electronic music producer, DJ, and curator.

Fløbo's research in the techno genre began in his early teenage years when he got captivated by the hypnotic flow and rhythms of records from the 90s and 00s in the style of UK, Detroit and European techno.

A film about a Berlin techno artist inspired him and led him to music production. Fløbo started to experiment with samples in a free audio workstation right after he watched this film. Over the following weeks, Fløbo felt this strong connection, and he noticed that this had a healing effect on him. Since then, music production has been an integral part of his life.

Fløbo made his first experiences as DJ in his teenage era in local clubs in his hometown. Later he got the attention of promoters from Zurich, where he has been active in the techno scene for some years until he moved to Berlin in 2019.

Over the years, Fløbo has put together a hardware-based setup with which he mainly writes his tracks nowadays. Fløbo's music offers an introspective journey with hypnotic rhythms and atmospheric soundscapes.
