What's new
Recent additions and improvements to Formaviva.
Track pages lead with the waveform
A track's page now opens with its waveform across the full width, so timed comments have room to breathe. The cover, actions and details sit in the sidebar below it, and the page now shows the track's release date.
Know where to ship physical orders
For sellers
See your salesWhen someone buys a record, a tape or merch, the sale page now shows the buyer's shipping address, so you can post it straight away.
Settings that save properly
Open settingsEvery field in Settings now loads your current details and saves them reliably.
Labels can add new artists
For labels
Releasing someone who isn't on Formaviva yet? Type their name in the artist field of the release form and create them on the spot.
Your real earnings on the dashboard
For artists and labels
Open your dashboardThe dashboard and the Sales list now show what you actually earned, sale by sale.
Waveforms in track lists
Track rows on releases and playlists now show each track's waveform, so you can see the shape of a track at a glance.
The music keeps going
When you reach the end of a queue, the player carries on with related tracks instead of stopping. You can turn this off in the player's settings.
Easier donations
Supporting an artist directly is now one "Send donation" button on their profile, with suggested amounts or one of your own.
Visuals mode
Open the player and switch on visuals: a sound field that moves with the music.
List view for releases, artists, labels and playlists
Browse releasesSwitch any listing between the cover grid and a compact list. You can play a release straight from its row.
Add to a playlist from the player
Like what's playing? Add it to one of your playlists straight from the player bar, without leaving the page you're on.
A new release form
For artists and labels
Creating a release is now a two-column form with a summary beside it, so you can see what's missing before you publish. You can also credit remixers on every track.
Private links for unreleased music
For artists and labels
Give each person their own link to a private release, and take it back whenever you like. The links open in the mobile app too.
