Jautu is a new project by Gytis Simanavičius (Gytis S), focused on live-performed electronic dance music.

With the debut release “I”, Jautu searches for a form of hypnotic dance music in which electronic rhythms merge with acoustic instruments.

Acoustic sounds play a significant role here — they appear in all tracks and become an organic part of the musical structure. The album breathes with liveliness: it is clearly felt that these are live-performed and recorded pieces. Imperfections, breathing, and immediacy become part of the aesthetic.

With the Jautu project, Gytis Simanavičius consciously chooses the direction of live performance and seeks to be noticed as an electronic dance music artist whose music is born first on stage, not on the screen.
