Techne is the fire of creation present in every human - arts and crafts, technology and technique. Defying the Gods, Prometheus shows us that true liberation inevitably needs conflict against a rigid order. Our true aim isn’t perfection, but infinite perfectioning instead. Athena helps the titan to steal the fire for humanity, and, as the goddess of wisdom, warfare and handcraft, she provides us with a soul in the form of a butterfly – the ability to metamorphosis, the capacity to transform into higher levels of freedom and to search for a purpose. Through inner warfare, wisdom becomes the handcraft of the mind.
