The bəˈkəm EP is a simple description of any evolutionary process, whether physical or mental, split into three phases: breaking, processing, and improvement. The phases are connected and intertwined, mirroring how communication is seen to unfold in a similar manner. The tracks were made using FM synthesis and processing of ambient recordings with custom software developed by the artist, which turns written words into sound patterns.
