Hot on the heels of debut 12” Unmarked Paths, Other Form drops a rework by Killawatt (Osiris, 47) of the track that lends its name to the label. After reducing the original to its skeletal basics, Killawatt then rebuilds it in multiple layers of distorted percussion and thick bass stabs. The result is a wildly different beast: still techno and still drenched in atmospherics, but lead by an unrelenting, forward-driving groove.
