“Ιερός γάμος” is an attempt of recording the process of an actual ritual, based on some predetermined parts along with certain improvised ones, in order to form an amalgam that corresponds to the very essence of the Sacred Marriage which results to the Holy Alchemical Androgyne. Its sound eruptions are accompanied by prayers in form of glossolalia, establishing the infinite unification of the Red husband and the White bride, specifically Hermes and Aphrodite – or Mercurius and Venus, if you prefer.

Thus, our intentions can be witnessed through this somehow long, intimate sonic journey. Hence, one could say that this sonic action defies the boundaries of what is known as ritual ambiance, actually representing the exact ceremonial working itself. If we had to put this in words – and whilst genre tagging is a method used purely in terms of a needed description – then perhaps this piece could potentially be defined as being a form of ritualistic esoterica. If one reaches beyond the realm of words, “Ιερός Γάμος” is the spark emanating from the source of divine providence. So, may you be baptised through the unrelenting, never extinguishing holy Fire.
