New Pussybilities in the face of mono-culture.
Rheremita Cera (pron. they) is a transdisciplinary artist provoking rupture with the binary thought by reflecting on intersectional-transfeminist subjects through collaborations and experimental processes of composing performances, texts, videos,
music and sculptures.
Brazilian based in Berlin since 2016, Rheremita Cera performed for 10 years until 2021 as vocalist in the lesbian-feminist-hardcore-band Anti-Corpos where they investigated gutural techniques and expanded their vocal notions obtained
during their choir-singing studies between 2009 and 2011.
On their most recent album liveAlive - New Pussybilities
in the face of mono-culture their punk rock background appears within its experimental tracks. Digital compositions are mixed with screams and a poetry that draw connections among Queer and Sacred, Astrology and Technology, Ancient mythologies and Man's impact on earth through the forced application of mono-culture
worldwide.
The album's name evokes the emanative life inherent to creation and its fermentation processes.
