It’s always a pleasure to release an album, even more if this album comes from the hands and machines of Hd Substance.

During a musical journey made of ten tracks, the Spanish veteran shows his synthesizer and drum machine skills, cooking this recording all out of the box. All of them executed using the inner sequencers of the machines when possible and also using hardware sequencers.

All tracks were recorded in one take with no edits.

No computers were involved in the creation of this collection, although all of them have been made during winter / spring 2021. The intention in this work was to use the same techniques and instruments used in the making of his first releases in the nineties plus some new ones to reflect the evolution and trademark sound he has achieved during his 30 year spanning career.

As the tunes were made using classic working methods, the track titles are names of also “classic” cinema actors from the past century, hence the album title.

Hd Substance likes to refer to its machines as his band, so here you have the band members:
